Dear readers, Filing a new case is the main work of an advocate. Before filing a case we have to understand what are the pre-requisites for filing a case. The case may of mainly two types civil and criminal.  Essential of civil cases: For filing a civil case minimum one person is essential, who can file a suit and is called plaintiff / petitioner. In special type of case like probate, succession etc. one person can file a case against no one. On the other hand for most common civil suit contain at least two parties. Other parties on which against the case is filed called defendant / opposite parties. partition suit, title suit, maintenance, divorce etc. are common example of this type of cases.
